Privacy policy
This page says exactly what betteranatomy stores about you, why, and who handles it. The person responsible for your data is Alex Awada, Tbilisi, Georgia ([email protected]).
What we store
| Data | Why |
|---|---|
| Your email address | To log you in with an email link and to contact you about the pilot. |
| The invite code you used and your group | To give you access to the pilot. |
| Your flashcard progress | So your reviews follow you between sessions. |
| Study activity: when you open the study room, which cards you grade, quiz answers and scores | To measure whether the pilot works (how often it's used, whether scores improve). Only the admin (Alex) can see each student's numbers; nobody else sees yours. |
| A random device ID kept in your browser, and a label like "Chrome on Windows" | To keep your account to one device at a time. |
| Error reports and feedback you send | To fix mistakes and decide what to build next. |
We don't store passwords (there are none), payment details, your location, or anything about your health. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising, and there are no ad or tracking cookies. Your browser keeps your login session, theme choice and device ID in its own storage.
Who handles it for us
- Supabase: database and login, stored in the EU (Frankfurt).
- Cloudflare: hosts the website and counts page visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and doesn't identify you.
- Resend: sends the login emails.
- Code libraries and fonts load from cdnjs, jsDelivr and Google Fonts, which see your IP address when they deliver files.
How long we keep it
For as long as your account exists. When you ask for deletion, your account, progress, activity, device record, feedback and reports are deleted within 30 days. Error reports may be kept without your name if the fix depends on them.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, or to stop its use, by writing to [email protected]. You can also complain to Georgia's Personal Data Protection Service.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, you'll be told before it applies.
